The Red version is most likely to be available only on Verizon

We know @evleaks well enough by now and know that it has never posted any pointless updates. A new red version of the HTC One has come up from their side of the leak and it has left us wondering whether this new painted red version will sell exclusively from HTC or will it be granted through some other carriers. The leaked pictures, which show both the front and rear sides of the phone, indicate that the phone will come along with Verizon branding.

The phone certainly looks amazing and the red makes it rather more elegant than flashy however its exclusivity to the Verizon brand might prevent many of us from having the red version. This means that most us are left with other standard options of gunmetal grey, glacial silver and amber gold.

Well, it looks like a lot has been going on for the HTC One. The phone is getting a minor software update with which the phone will have its Extreme Power Saving Mode and will also get performance enhancement for camera and gallery apps. Many of us might have heard of the Extreme Power Saving Mode as it was announced at the time of launch but the US and Canadian variants did not receive the feature. But no worries since the feature is coming along with the update.
