Phones from Xiaomi have surprisingly been doing quite well in the market and they are famous for giving a lot for the money. The Xiaomi Mi3 was launched way back in September last year and staying in line with the company’s aim of providing the best phones in the most economical ways possible, the company has announced new prices and the phone will now be cheaper than it was before. With a considerable price cut, the 16GB Mi3 has now gone from $327 to $270. The 64GB model on the other hand has been retailing for $320 soon after the company announced its plan to expand Mi3 outside of China.

The efforts have been going on full scale and by the end of this year the Xiaomi phone will be available in many other countries including India, Brazil, and Russia as well as Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, the Philippines, Thailand, Turkey, and Vietnam.

The Mi3 is being offered in two variants with different chipsets. There will be two options available to you in case you purchase the phone; you can either get a Tegra 4 with four Cortex-A15 cores or a Snapdragon 800 with four Krait 400 cores at 2.2 GHz each. At the moment, the Tegra 4 model can be purchased on China Mobile and the other Snapdragon 800 version is available on China Unicom. Other specs of the device are the same with the exact measurements of 144mm×72mm×8.1mm and a weight of 145 grams. The phone has a 5 inch display with 1080p IPS and housed inside is the Android 4.2.1 skinned with MIUI v5 and covers imaging needs with 13 MP and 2 MP cameras.
