However, this doesnt make Miesha Tate, who says that Gina hasnt been in a fight since 5 years, happy at all

The current action movie star Gina Carano, who is also the former Strikeforce champ, is most probably up next for a fight against FC champion Ronda Rousey. And this recent development is definitely not doing any good for Miesha Tate, who has lost to Rousey twice. Gina Carano hasn’t been in a fight since almost five years and this is something which Tate is not so positive about.

Regarding Gina, Tate has even had a talk with MMA Junkie on Monday where she said that “I really feel that it’s just kind of a joke. It really is. Gina was a great fighter, and she’s a beautiful woman. Ronda is a great fighter, and she’s an attractive girl. But to say that Gina should be able to come in after five years of nothing and take on arguably the best female fighter ever? Come on.”

She continued saying that “Women’s MMA has been working to legitimize ourselves for so long, and we finally broke the ice, we’re finally in the UFC, and we’re getting some credibility. Don’t take that away by putting a fight together that is based entirely on looks and has little to nothing to do with skill set."

So basically Tate has come up with a solution for Gina Carano and it might be quite simple. She says that Carano should be left to fight her first. “If Gina is serious about making a comeback, then I think I would be the perfect person for her to step in to fight against," Tate said.
