The diminutive Tyrion Lannister is up against the executioner’s axe in the Game of Thrones series.

Since he is on trial, Tyrion Lannister has expressed his opinion regarding the (fake) situation he is in. The actor, whose real name is Peter Dinklage, is about to face the music for his killing of the king played by Jack Gleeson. This is the 36th episode of Game of Thrones on the HBO channel.

In the scenes on the television screen, Tyrion and his wife are actually innocent. But the witnesses who have turned up from nowhere have testified otherwise. And the fact is that the judge is the evil father of Tyrion (who has always despised his small-sized son).

The real criminal who poisoned the king remains at large. However, Tyrion’s elder brother is the only one left to defend his honor. The brother states that it is not a trial but a travesty of a trial. Finally, the judge and brother make a pact. Tyrion will be spared a grisly death and forced to be a member of the Night’s Watch.

Tyrion’s older brother tells him that the difficult times will end soon. But then enters Tyrion’s mistress and she upsets the proceedings by her accusation of Tyrion as a guilty man. This of course infuriates Tyrion who decides to fight it out for his life instead of standing trial.

The other characters all play out their roles and parts with dedication and devotion. They literally turn night into day by presenting the realistic and brutally honest dialogues in a fast-paced fashion. The kingdom and the fight for the throne are given a new angle every time so that the series is super-interesting in its every scene and moment.

Will Tyrion live to see a better tomorrow or fall prey to the forces out to end his life? What about his big brother who is on his side? And finally, the most important question of all, what is the verdict of the evil judge?
