The update includes improvements to camera, Blinkfeed and themese
A few days earlier we heard about the HTC One M7 getting the update to Sense 6.0 in Canada which would come for both the unlocked devices and those on Rogers, Bell and TELUS networks. We instantly suspected that the update would soon reach the US market as well and as it appears, we were quite right about that. The HTC product manager Leigh Momii revealed through his Twitter account that the update is going to roll out for both the Developer Edition and unlocked HTC One M7 owners. However the carrier branded HTC M7 owners will not feel so good about being left behind but for now they should look forward because AT&T, Sprint and Verizon are not going to stay behind for that long. T-Mobile is currently in the development stage.

Getting back to the update itself, there are going to be new interfaces Gallery and Camera apps which also includes some camera improvements which are found on the HTC One M8. But this doesn’t mean that the exact developments of the M8 have been brought to the update; unfortunately this wasn’t possible due to the hardware limitations. The change log also talks about improvements in the Blinkfeed alongside better theme/font support, HTC’s Extreme Power Saving mode and more.
