Everything inside is similar to the original One - the major difference lies in the design which features a more plastic appearance

HTC One M8 is soon going to have its own cheaper version which has already been detailed a couple of times over the internet. We have recently got a leak from a Chinese source and it is calling the phone as the Vogue Edition which is scheduled to launch on June 3. We have also had rumors that the phone could likely be called the HTC One M8 Ace.

HTC has also been teasing its next One and we are suspecting the company simply likes the idea of toying around with the names. Fashionable women wearing trendy clothes have been portrayed in this teaser video and we can see where the ‘vogue’ in the name fits in. We love HTC’s meaningful message in the video that ‘fashionable’ has nothing to do with luxury. We can understand how they had to clear this misconception considering they were promoting their ‘cheaper’ One.

The hardware of the phone is going to remain the same and the phone is going to retain most of the features of the original One M8 such as the Snapdragon 801, a 5-inch 1080p display, 2 GB of RAM, Android 4.4, and Sense 6.0. The major difference is on the outside with a different design and this can more clearly be described as a move away from more metallic sheen towards the plasticity of the mid-range Desire smartphones.
