Steve Coburn appeared on Good Morning America for an emotional apology. California Chrome lost the Belmont Stakes ended the dream of the Triple Crown.

California Chrome did not make history on the weekend. The horse had the chance to make the Triple Crown. A feat that was last achieved in 1978.

After the Belmont Stakes race was over and California Chrome has not won the race, co-owner Steve Coburn came out swinging with an angry rant. Watch Steve Coburn now on the ABC Good Morning America clip below.

Coburn's rant was mostly about hat California Chrome had competed in all three Triple Crown races and the winner was not. The problem is that it always has been this way in these races of 3-year-old racehorses. California Chrome also got injured at the race, but the horse is doing fine.
