Basically, the twin turbo-diesel car rocks and will be a crowd favorite for sure. The car’s lights can be detected through the veil that covers it in the photos. And it is more spacious, taller and wider by the sheer dramatic looks of it.
As for the final real-time images and full specs of the vehicle, they will get released a month from now at the Paris Auto show. Volkswagen will debut the 2015 Euro Volkswagen Passat at the 2014 Paris auto show in October. However, the maker firm has released some technical details of the upcoming Euro Passat.
The car is forged from very tensile and heated steel not to mention aluminum. The aluminum of course makes it approximately 187 pounds less hefty than the previous model. With 237 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque the gas guzzler is the bee’s knees.
New Euro Passat will also be smaller externally but its interior and cargo space will become larger. As for the seven speed dual clutch DSG transmission it completely transforms the vehicle from an ordinary consumer durable to an extraordinary miracle on wheels.
The all-wheel drive plan of the vehicle makes for some excellent traction on and off rough terrain. There is even a hybrid version among the cards somewhere.
Volkswagen claims that "peak torque will be available at 1750 rpm. A plug-in hybrid model with 31 miles of electric-only range and a 600-mile overall range will also be available."
Finally, the fuel economy is healthier (improve by up to 20 percent) thanks to the light weight status of the car. Usage of novel forms of technology in the interior of the vehicle is bound to create interest in the working of the Volkswagen Passat.
Active Info Display takes the place of the clutter of panels. This consists of a screen which displays navigation and audio-visual data at a glance. The Head-Up Display also lets the lucky driver know everything from speed to vital stats and even any safety risks.
Among some of the other cool features may be included a Modular Infotainment System and a car-Net remote application that allows you to use your smart phone in synch with the car. The vehicle is simple irresistible and it will attract a lot of eager and avid customers when it hits the market.
