Thank god! It appears that the iPhone 6 dummies we have seen so far are all fake.

Over the past weeks we saw photos and even videos of the iPhone 6 housing. The design is just hideous. The big gaps on top and bottom and the rounded edges just make the design clunky and uncool compared to the iPhone 5S.

Now a report from Japan's Nikkei says that Apple has leaked those dummies to to test its partners. I really hope that is true. The leaked iPhone 6 dummies show a much thinner iPhone and bigger screen, but the rest is unacceptable.

Our content partner at Forbes supports my opinion on what we have seen so far from the iPhone 6. I hope Apple has learned from the past iPhone releases and finally managed to keep the design secret until the big presentation this fall. To release fake designs is a powerful way to to that. It keeps the Apple rumor mill busy and leads competitors into the wrong way.

Apple is set to have an exciting fall and holiday season with the release of iOS 7 and OS Maverick in addition to a slew of new devices including the iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C, iPad Air, iPad mini with Retina Display, Mac Pro, MacBook Air, iMac and MacBook Pro. There might also be something completely new that we do not know about. It is likely not the iWatch, which is expected for 2014.
