The WWE wrestler, John Cena is to play quite a different role in an upcoming movie, The Nest.

John Cena will be playing a villain’s role in “The Nest”. This is a surprising move for John Cena since usually he is the good guy. The Universal Studios comedy depicts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler as two sisters who invite everybody to a big party before they sell their parents’ house.

Several people have gotten together for the making of this movie. Jason Moore is the director while Paula Pell wrote the screenplay. As for the characters in the movie, they include: James Brolin, Ike Bannholtz, Maya Rudolph and John Leguizamo.

John Cena was a rap artist once upon a time. And he has acted in several movies already including “The Marine” and “12 Rounds”. He has also been a partaker in the Make-a-Wish Celebrity Series.

His venture into comedy will prove a new stomping ground for John Cena. Currently, though he is busy making Trainwreck with Judd Apatow.

Meanwhile, the wrestling tenure of John Cena may have been put on hold due to the movies he is making. There is even the question of how long his career as a wrestler will last since most of the time he is absent from the ring and in front of the cameras.

There are bound to be some cuts in pay packages for every wrestler in the process. After all, Vince McMahon controls the purse strings of the WWE. The match slated to come next is Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar.

John Cena meanwhile will be busy playing the bad guy in The Nest. The fact that this bad guy role will be for a movie instead of for Wrestle Mania speaks volumes about John Cena’s choices. Except for the fact that John Cena will be a villain in the flick, the rest of the information has been kept pretty much a secret.

You will have to see the movie for yourself in order to gather what John’s actual role is. He is his usual hulky bulky self though. That much is for sure.
