A resized speaker grill and repositioned microphone mean this is not a part that is simply from the existing iPad Air
Apple just knows how to stay in the limelight and the hype surrounding the fruit company is increasing day by day because of the vast product portfolio prepared for launch for this year. First we had a tsunami of leaks pertaining to the iPhone 6 and now the iPad Air 2 is going to take the lead with so many leaks already. We all are going crazy for the upcoming iPhone 6 and between all this hype we nearly forgot that we are only a few months away from Apple’s new suite of iPads, one of them being the iPad Air 2.

The most recent leak gives us a bunch of photos which are apparently of the iPad Air 2’s rear shell and according to the Taiwan-based accessory maker Yi Lin Enterprises, the golden housing apparently comes from the unannounced second generation iPad Air. We cant really be sure whether this is some accurate news or not, but we do know that this is something different than the current generation. After looking at the resized speaker grill and repositioned microphone we can be certain that this part hasn’t been taken from the current gen iPad Air.
Only a few days back we had another leak for the iPad Air 2 and it stated the new iPad would feature a pair of recessed volume buttons as well as space for a Touch ID Home button and this is exactly what we see on the leaked photos, thus creating all the more reason for us to believe that we are looking at the upcoming iPad Air 2.
