Tom Hanks has launched an all new typewriter app 'Hanx Writer' for his iPad user to make a typewriter out of an iPad.

Tom Hanks is a die hard fan of typewriters. And he has now made his passion digital by launching a typewriter app for iPad called 'Hanx Writer.'

If you are a user of a physical keyboard, you will not find it easy to type on iPad. And Tom Hanks wants to make typing easy and fluent for all iPad users. That is why he launched this new typewriter app bearing his name.

This new typewriter iPad app will give users and all new typing experience with feel "of a manual typewriter, but with the ease and speed of an iPad."

Tom Hanks has also explained his passion for typewriters in the welcome letter of his 'Hanx Writer' app. In fact, he has a big collection of all types of typewriters.

Hanks said, “I write without caring about typeovers, XXXX’d out words, goofy syntax, & bad spelling because the feel & sound of a typewriter is satisfying in ways that couldn’t be matched — until now!”

Now this new typewriter app will give you an all new touch screen typewriter experience for free. You can now download a free basic version of the 'Hanx Writer' that includes one typewriter style, text color and ribbon color.

However, you can also buy two other keyboards for $3 each or unlock everything for $5. But the basic features of this typewriter app are absolutely free and that is an amazing offer.
