Live: Julian Assange Might Surrender Today

Is the WikiLeaks founder giving up today? Julian Assange has called for a press-conference and the rumors say is planning to surrender.

Julian Assange has spent the last two years on the Ecuadorian embassy in London. He got political asylum from Ecuador but was not able to leave the embassy because he would have been jailed and deported.

Yesterday it Assange revealed that he suffers a heart condition, lung problems, bad eyesight and high-blood pressure. It could be that his medical condition forces him to leave the embassy.

Julian Assange is wanted for questioning in the United States. An arrest warrant in Sweden based on sexual assault allegations. Assange fears that Sweden would extradite him to the US. Today he might just have to face that situation.
