Less than a dozen episodes have been worked into the busy schedule of A&E Network. The show will begin airing sometime next year. And when it does it is hoped that it will be quite a crowd favorite.
What the docuseries will show is the two siblings’ struggle as they try to set up a bar in their provenance. And the hometown is none other than Cincinnati, Ohio.
The approval for this show has been given and it has also shifted from FYI to A&E where it will be better dealt with. The two brothers are busy establishing the bar in Cincinnati.
They will not give up as far as the effort to set up a bar is concerned. In fact, they will give it their all. The rest of course depends on chance and the fortuity of circumstance.
"Despite their lack of knowledge about running a business, these determined brothers are ready to roll up their sleeves and learn the ins and outs of running a place where everybody knows your name," A&E stated in a press release.
"Unfortunately, drinking experience doesn't necessarily translate into drink-making experience… but they're ready to learn."
The opening up of a bar by the two brothers-in-arms will be an act of sheer courage and will. Starting from scratch they will construct the very beams and rafters of the venue from the ground up.
Progress as has never been seen before will be showcased before the world in the docuseries. The brothers once had their very own band. And Nick was Jessica Simpson’s hubby once upon a time.
"It has been a long-time dream to create our own special place in Cincinnati to eat, drink and spend time with our friends, family and neighbors," Nick Lachey said in a press release.
"Partnering with 4EG was an organic fit as we have long been fans of their restaurants and bars in the area. Their expertise in managing and developing new restaurant concepts is second to none."
Nick has had previous experience with reality TV and so he will probably be able to pull this one off. His brother Drew has even been on the show DWTS.
Although the siblings have been in radically different situations from the current one they are to face, they have the chutzpah and derring-do to go ahead with the work anyway.
Nothing can stop them since they are learners and winners. And the winners never quit while the quitters never win.
