Sara Bareilles is to lend tribute to the late Robin Williams at Emmys 2014.

At the 66th Emmy Awards, Sara Bareilles will be honoring Robin Williams. Accompanied by Billy Crystal, she will be celebrating the lifetime achievements of the late actor.

Robin committed suicide some time back and the reason was chronic depression. He leaves behind three children and a wife. Billy Crystal will be paying his respect to the actor who worked in such movies as What Dreams May Come and Dead Poet’s Society while Sara will be singing in a musical in memory of Robin.

The actor took his own life at the age of 63. He was a very versatile person who was also worth a lot of money. The money he has left behind for his wife and three children. Robin also appeared in Mrs. Doubtfire in which he plays a father who turns into a transvestite nanny in order to be close to his kids.

Meanwhile, Sara Bareilles is being sued by the artist Maya Hayuk for using her ideas for her tour props. And while Maya did have her mural painted on the side of a wall, she never intended it to be copied by any Tom, Dick and Harry.

After Sara did just that, Maya has decided to sue the singer for copyright infringement. The lawyer for Maya confirmed that she had to go through hell to make these murals and just to think that somebody was stealing her work meant that that person was taking away her means of livelihood.

Maya is not going to let the singer off the hook. Too much is at stake here. She is suing her to the amount of $150,000. As for Sara, there have been no answers forthcoming from her end. Maybe she is not very happy with this decision taken by Maya.

But when you plagiarize so blatantly, the consequences are often very serious. It would be best that she pay the money and learn from this bitter experience that stealing someone else’s works of art is not a very good idea.
