Dave Chappelle Made Suprise Comeback At Hartford

Comedian Chappelle returned to Hartford exactly one year after his failed show there. Watch a phone video of his performance below.

Dave Chappelle made a surprise appearance in Hartford over the weekend. Exactly a year ago he bombed on stage there. It is kind of unimaginable, but Dave Chappelle got heckled off stage in Hartford during his Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Festival Tour.

Now he made piece with the Hartford audience a year later. The audience welcomed him with standing ovations and he did a funny set after talking a while about the incident a year ago. He said he handled it immaturely. He continued to make fun of last year's incident later in his piece as the audience was cheering.

Dave Chappelle quit his super successful TV show back in 2006. Chappelle talked to Letterman in June about the reasons why he quit. Watch here. He still does stand-up and that in a big way. He had a run at the Radio City Music Hall in New York earlier this summer.
