Current and Former Players take to social media in response to the video released by TMZ.

Current and former NFL players are speaking out after the video showing former Ravens running back Ray Rice striking his fiancé unconscious in an elevator.

Terrance Knighton fired off a series of messages over social media on Monday, and ripped into the inexcusable actions of what Rice did to Janay Palmer back in February. Rice was given just a two-game suspension, which has been universally criticized by the public as too lenient towards the star running back. After seeing the video that was posted by TMZ Sports on Monday morning, Knighton went to his Twitter account and said Rice doesn't belong in the NFL, period.

Knighton wasn't the only one speaking out on social media on Monday after the video was released to the public. Former NFL players joined in to rip on the league for only handing down a two game suspension, and asking the league to revisit the punishment that was handed down.
