Apple is unveiling the new iPhone 6 today and it will be a huge change.

Update: iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Details Announced.

Apple will unveil the new iPhone 6 today starting at 10am PDT. You can watch the event live online. The iPhone 6 is going to be a major update in several ways. First off the overall design has apparently changed based on the leaked iPhone 6 parts and assembled devices we saw over the last months. I still hope that some details like the antenna lines will end up better looking in the official iPhone 6 today.

Besides the new shape of the iPhone, there will also be a new big screen model. The rumors say that Apple will reveal a 5.5-inch iPhone 6 possibly named iPhone 6 Plus. The new big iPhone is directly going after the premium Android smartphones that enjoyed quite a bit of success with their large screens. Now Apple wants a piece of that action. The latest rumors say that both new iPhones will go on sale on September 19, but the iPhone phablet will be in short supply. I hope you have already lined up in front on an Apple Store.

Watch below the most recent leaked iPhone 6 video. As said, I still have hopes that the actual iPhone 6 will look better than this.

Besides the new iPhone, Apple is supposedly unveiling a new NFC based payment system. Other things that Apple is likely showing off today include some kind of iWatch and maybe new iPads.
