Developers are racing to come up with the big idea

Developers are known for racing against each other whenever a new idea pops up into the collective mind of the iDevice market, although that has never been truer than with the new Apple Watch that is by far the most anticipated product they have created since the iPhone.

Apple has already unveiled some of the features that are going to be included, like the HealthKit system that will make it easier than ever to keep track of your body, especially in the context of recovering from medical issues. Apple is also rumored to be working on voice messages with the device, although it is the third party race that will be truly interesting.

Third party developers are working hard to find out what their million dollar idea will be. Being the first one to the market will be a very beneficial position for anyone that creates Apps. The fact that it is an entirely new line of products for Apple, with others failing without the right kind of innovation, is going to be a massive revolution in the way that the Apps are designed. In fact, some developers have turned down other projects for Android platforms, betting on Apple’s wearable device being released, something that no one knew for sure until Tuesday.

What kinds of Apps will we see? It is essentially the Wild West that the iPhone used to be, so almost anything is possible. With millions of dollars at stake, you can bet that there are going to be many innovative ideas and many new ways of taking advantage of the kinds of things that this watch will make possible.
