Saturday Night Live continues to change after Seth Meyers left. Meyers already got replaced by SNL head writer Colin Jost. Now THR reports that Michael Che will join him at the SNL news desk. Michael Che was only three month at the Daily Show. He tweeted big thanks to Jon Stewart. The Daily Show has become a prime jump board for comedians into high profile jobs. The most recent was John Oliver, who hosts now his own show on HBO on Sundays.

Michael Che's filed his last report in the Daily Show from September 4.

The new SNL season will premiere on September 27. The first host will be Chris Pratt. The musical guest is Ariana Grande.
