The NFL football picks for the second week in a row present quite a different picture from the ordinary.

The picks for the NFL football season for the second week is contrasted with the spread. The time is ripe for everything related to football and the rest of the things can go to hell as far as aficionados of the game are concerned.

The previous week it was an 8-8 match. And the 12-4 finish is something which deserves all the praise in the world. The picks are few and far between and here they are: the Steelers won over the Ravens by 0-2.

Then the Bills gained an edge over the Dolphins because Jim Kelly beat his cancerous tumor. The Falcons thrashed the Bengals by five points. The Saints have trumped the Browns by -6.5 points.

Ben Tate and Jordan Cameron of the Browns didn’t measure up in the competition. As for the Cowboys, they gained a +3.5 lead over the Titans. The Patriots were triumphant by -3 over the Vikings due to the reason that Drew Bledsoe got injured recently.

The Cardinals were stuck at -2 compared to the Giants. Carson Palmer added a few belly whoppers but to no avail. The Redskins won -6 against the Jaguars. And while, they are not the best, the Jaguars didn’t even come close to winning.

Then there are a few more scores that got settled. The Lions attacked the Panthers and got a +2.5 added value in their fuel economy. BTW, the Lions have seldom been losers.

As for the Seahawks, well, they conquered -5.5 against the Chargers. The Rams won +5.5 easily upsetting the Bucs. The Chiefs had a huge +13 advantage over the brawny Broncos.

And last but not least the Packers, Texans and Bears scored big time over the Jets, Raiders and 49ers. Their respective scores were: -8.5, -3 and +7.

Finally, there are the courageous Colts which scored a -3 top-up over the Eagles. The competition was neck to neck and many emerged winners while there were losers too. The excitement was indeed unbearable for the fans.
