The Simpsons are heading into the 26th season. It is the longest running scripted show. The Simpsons are timeless because they react to what is going on now and make it hilarious to watch. The new season will premiere on September 28 and you know, someone will die.

The Simpsons maker released a clip this week where Willie the Groundkeeper talks about the Scottish elections. Scotland is going to the polls on September 18 to decide about the Scottish independence. Listen to what Willie has to say about that in the video below. The latest polls say that the Scottish are split 50/50 on the Independence issue.

On September 28 will also air a special Family Guy and Simpsons cross-over episode. This means there is a double treat for Simpsons fans on that evening.
