Sir Richard Branson just shared on his blog that he underwent Astronaut training.

When Sir Richard Branson was guest on Letterman he was not quite clear if he would be on the first Virgin Galactic flight. He is though already training to be an Astronaut. In a blog post today, Branson describes the training and what he had to learn.

Richard Branson attended astronaut training at NASTAR Center, just south of Philadelphia, offers training for Future Astronauts. He says that the theory part involved the most exciting PowerPoint slideshow he had ever seen. He must have seen a lot in his day as entrepreneur and investor. This slideshow must have been off the charts.

After the theory, Branson endured G forces in the centrifuge. See the Vine below.

His next steps in becoming an astronaut are aerobatic flights, daily exercise and healthy diet. Via Branson's blog.

The first space tourists that paid $250,000 for a ticket are expected to fly into space in March or April of 2015. This is the latest timeline Branson has revealed. If it will hold remains to be seen.
