Jerry Seinfeld shared on Facebook that Joan Rivers would have been the lead guest on his awesome Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee season. It would have been a lot of fun.

Joan Rivers passed away on September 4. The loss is still mourned among Hollywood stars. Jerry Seinfeld revealed yesterday that Joan Rivers would have been the first guest of the new season of Seinfeld's very entertaining Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. Seinfeld posted the text message that confirmed that Joan Rivers would love to be on his show.

Seinfeld said: "I would have loved to have shown another side of her. I wanted to tell her how much I admire all she had accomplished, especially in the latter stages of her career. She was one of the greats. I'll miss her." See post below.

It is not clear when the 5th season of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee will start. Seinfeld just promoted more Single Shot episodes. On September 18, Leno and Letterman will be featured together.

In other news, Joan Rivers last audio recording was for an advertisement for a Broadway show. During the taping she complained about voice problems. Shortly after she went into the hospital. Via Mail Online.
