Tommy Chong is set to take part in Dancing with the Stars on Monday night on ABC.

Tommy Chong is all set to take part in Dancing with the Stars Monday night on ABC and while talking to the Time Magazine, Chong said that he would want to be “the poster boy for the marijuana community.” He continued saying “They can point and me and say, ‘Look at him! He’s 76 years old, he can dance, he’s healthy, he has a beautiful wife and he smokes marijuana for medical purposes. Medical marijuana is my passion in life. I went for jail for my beliefs. Now that we’re getting legal, I want to focus on the benefits of medical marijuana — it helps little children with epilepsy and MS, and it helped me with my cancer.”

But after he said this he added that the show certainly cant be allowed to display “pot leaves or bongs. But they have Tommy Chong, who really is a pot leaf.” He also talked to ABC when he revealed his plan to win this season and attract all the Chinese viewers since he is half Chinese. He also jokingly added that “All the Korean viewers, all the Filipino viewers. And then because of my association with Cheech, he’s Mexican, so I want to get all the Mexican viewers. And I’m half Scottish and Irish, so all the Irish and all the Scottish. And I was born in Canada, so all the Canadians.”
