The 9th season of America's Got Talent is over. Magician Mat Franco won the America's Got Talent competition. Mat Franco will receive $1 million and get a show in Las Vegas. Never before has a magician won the America's Got Talent competition. Mat Franco became fascinated with the art of magic after seeing it on television at age four. He grew up in Rhode Island and Mat Franco's way of learning magic was by watching magicians on TV. He would videotape the shows and then study them for hours.

Emily West scored second place and the previously hyped gruop AcroArmy only made the third spot. The America's Got Talent finale featured performances by Pitbull, Train, Lenny Kravitz, and Jennifer Hudson.
