Sorry ladies, the naked photo on social media suggestive of the One Direction singer is not him, says Liam Payne.

Liam Payne found himself in a naked scandal of his own when images purporting to be the One Direction singer in the buff were uploaded to Twitter on Saturday. It turns out that the nude pics suggestive of Liam are not him, according to Payne himself.

On September 20, fans of the British boy band singer were treated -- or mistreated -- to a photo of a man on a bed with nothing on but his birthday suit. Also in the picture was another naked dude, and both seemed to be snapped in compromising positions, if you get the drift.

The grainy image of "Liam Payne" shows the nude subject looking into the camera with his mouth slightly agape, and his hand strategically placed on his private parts. Another image shows a man in a black cap touching the backside of his male bed companion who appears to be pleasuring him.

Of course, to many fans, the nude photo of him was an early Christmas present from Liam, but to other savvy One Directioner fanatics, the image was more of a badly-done Photoshop job.

Others thought Liam fell victim to the 4Chan naked photo hack that affected Jennifer Lawrence, Victoria Justice, Kaley Cuoco, Kim Kardashian and others.

However, Liam denied the nude photo was of him, and that came straight from the horse's mouth, err, tweet.

Nonetheless, Payne has a legion of fans that vetted the image and declared it a fake, long before he chimed in and broke a number of hearts.

Liam Payne doesn’t appear flustered over the faux-nude photo leak. Saturday, he joined his 1D bandmates and performed for a sellout crowd at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas.
