Riley Keough is reportedly going to play the lead role in the TV adaptation of Soderbergh's film The Girlfriend Experience.

Riley Keough is a rising TV star. She is the granddaughter of Elvis Presley. The 25-year-old has made her presence felt quickly in the entertainment industry via her acting skills. Riley's first impression was very good although her role was small in "Magic Mike," a project of Steven Soderbergh.

And now a current report from The Playlist claims that Riley Keough is going to appear in the TV adaptation of Soderbergh's 2009 film The Girlfriend Experience. And her role will not be a small one this time.

This time, she is going to play the lead role that was being played by adult movie star, Sasha Grey, in the film. It has been already revealed earlier this summer that Starz is going to make a 13 episodes TV series of The Girlfriend Experience.

Steven Soderbergh is the executive producer of the TV version of his movie. Lodge Kerrigan and Amy Seimetz are the writers and directors of the TV series.

“When Philip [Fleishman] floated the idea of a Girlfriend Experience-inspired television show, I thought: ‘Let’s make it a different woman in a different city, let’s pair two independent writer/directors, one male and one female, and let them do the whole thing,'” Soderbergh said in a statement (via EW) while announcing the TV series.

No such details about the plot of the drama are yet being revealed. But "the show will be inspired by Soderbergh's movie that follows a high priced escort whose services go beyond the carnal, providing her clients with 'the girlfriend experience,' stoking relationships that extend beyond the bedroom," according to The Playlist.

Meanwhile, Riley Keough's acting career is steadily going towards its peak. The rising star is all set to appear in the hit drama "Mad Max: Fury Road" next summer. Best of luck Riley!
