The main songstress of Sadie and the Hotheads, Elizabeth McGovern, is all set to go on a tour to the US of A with her folk rock band.

By the year’s end, Elizabeth McGovern will be going places. She has decided to tour the Land of the Yanks with her band. The head honcho of Sadie and the Hotheads will be welcomed in the USA starting from the 4th of December.

And her first venue will be Washington. The tour duration will be for approximately ten days. Thus they will wind things up by December 14th. Elizabeth McGovern has already played the character of Cora Crawley who was the Countess of Grantham in the all-time hit Downton Abbey.

Season number five begins from the earliest possible date of the New Year. This is of course just a chance occurrence and not something that was actually planned.

According to Elizabeth, it was a quirky feeling to hear the music related to Downton Abbey instead of just seeing it on television. There were many people who had actually read the book related to Downton Abbey.

As for the series, it had won Elizabeth McGovern nominations for a Golden Globe Award and an Emmy Award. Her musical group has shown all of Europe what it has got in the way of talent.

Their first album came to public attention seven years ago. The latest version came out a year ago. She described it as a shocking compound of musical medleys.

Elizabeth also made an appearance in Ragtime, a movie that came out in the early 80s. She got an Academy Award nomination for the role she played in the film. McGovern described herself as bursting with confidence.

And she had built this exceptional self-esteem after a lot of years in the school of hard knocks. The best teacher, which is none other than experience, had made her out into a solid gold of a human being.

Along the way she had enjoyed the trip too with her band and had learnt a thing or two in her life as an artist. She is truly blessed to be where she is today.
