Don't Miss: This How to find Fingerlings in Stock

Bloomberg reports that Apple will introduce a gold iPad Air 2 to match the iPhone 6 colors.

The next new thing we await from Apple is the new iPad Air 2. Apple is expected to reveal the new 2014 iPads this month. The new iPad Air is expected to be faster and will get Touch ID and Apple Pay functionality. The screen is rumored to get a new filter. So nothing too surprising here. Bloomberg reports today that Apple will also introduce a gold version of the new iPad Air to match the colors of the iPhone 6. This is a quite save assumption.

Why Apple did not reveal a gold colored iPad Air last year was surprising.

Bloomberg reiterates a rumor that Apple will launch a 12.9-inch iPad in 2015. Do we want such a big tablet? Business users might want it. I don't see it become a huge hit with consumers.

It is not clear yet if Apple is also updating the iPad mini and iPad mini Retina. I hope they do. I hate inconsistencies in line-ups.

Current rumors point to an Apple iPad event on October 21.
