Fans of the ABC show Mistresses need to be strong now. Alyssa Milano is leaving the just renewed show.

Alyssa Milano quits ABC's Mistresses show. She announced the move online on Twitter. The reason is a business decision by the makers of the show. They moved the production to Canada, away from LA. Alyssa Milano says she cannot relocate because of her two young kids. This is totally understandable, but kind of weird that the show makers risk that Alyssa Milano would quit over the move to Canada.

I would think that a lot of fans tune into the show because of Alyssa Milano. She played Savi (Savannah Davis) on the show. It is unclear how Season 3 of Mistresses will deal with Alyssa Milano's departure.

You can read her full statement here.

Mistresses

Mistresses is based on the hit UK TV series of the same name. ABC's Mistresses is a provocative and thrilling drama about the scandalous lives of a sexy and sassy group of four girlfriends, each on her own path to self-discovery. These four friends find support and guidance with each other as they brave their turbulent journeys and life's storms of excitement, secrecy and betrayal, all the while bound by the complex relationships they've created.
