Eric Decker of the Jets is currently out of the game due to his hamstring problems.

Coach Rex Ryan announced recently that the player Eric Decker of the New York Jets did not participate in the game on Thursday. The reason was that he had been facing a great deal of unease and issues having to do with his hamstring.

It had incurred a severe bruising in the second week of being beaten by the Green Bay Packers. However, Ryan is hopeful regarding Decker’s recovery from the minor injury.

He will probably be back playing football on Sunday against the San Diego Chargers. Ryan furthermore said that nobody was forcing Eric to play. If he felt okay and up to it, he could definitely give it a try.

And if he was not feeling well, then he had the option to rest some more. However, he was certain that Eric would play on Sunday if he recuperated from his hamstring hiatus.

Decker had lost out to the Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears. David Nelson meanwhile had hurt his ankle giving Decker an opportunity at scoring more points than he normally would have had Nelson been fit enough.

Now that both Decker and Nelson are in the doghouse (so to say), the quarterback Geno Smith faces a hell of a challenge from the Chargers. Eric and the dis-ease in his hamstring muscles will require some healing.

For that a bit of rest and relaxation are of the essence. The injury has set his team back in the ranks of top football teams. Rex Ryan spoke of how being limited by injured players was somewhat of a gloomy proposal but then there were no two ways about it.

What you cannot cure, you must endure. And Rex was more than a little anxious regarding how the team would fare without Decker or Nelson on it. While Ryan looked forward to Eric playing this Sunday, Eric himself was not so confident.

He said that it all depended on his health status. Eric is facing a tough time since he signed on the dotted line for a cool $36.3 million. That is because he hasn’t yet shown the world what he has in the way of solid talent and ability.
