It seems all is not well with Real Housewives of New Jersey's Teresa Giudice. The actress was in hot soup recently for arriving at the series reunion four hours late. Her lateness really irritated other crew members because they felt she was dragging them behind.

And as if that was not enough, the actress could not play her role continously. According to Inquisitr, Teresa kept on taking irregular breaks. She seemed to be very stressed especially since she knows she will be put behind bars after celebrating Christmas.

The actress and her husband, Joe Giudice star in the Real Housewives of New Jersey. The couple was on Thursday charged with engaging in fraud. The couple had anticipated that the presiding judge would consider their celebrity status while issuing his ruling. In fact, Teresa was pushing for probation in order to take care of their kids.

However, judge Esther Salas did not give a damn about their celebrity status. He actually sentenced Teresa to 15-month jail term and sentenced Joe for 41 years. In fact, the couple will serve their terms simultaneously. Teresa will begin serving her sentence early next year so that her husband can watch over their children.

Joe will go to jail after his wife is done with her sentence. Besides serving a jail term, Joe risks being deported to his home country. Teresa was earlier requested to present papers that would be used to verify whether she can serve her sentence from the comfort of her home or not. The couple has four daughters who are all below the age of 18.

She actually availed the necessary papers through her lawyer but according to a reliable insider, she had not filled the form as required because she had not listed the assets she owns. In his ruling, judge Salas clearly stated that no one is above the law and so everyone who breaks the law must be ready to face the consequences.
