Lizzy Pattinson Booted From 'X-Factor U.K.'

'To let someone like that go is a bummer.' Robert Pattinson's sister is out.

'The X-Factor U.K.' on Sunday night. The 31-year-old singer, who works as a personal assistant when she isn't pursuing her music career, was disappointed in getting booted off the show from Simon Cowell.

Pattinson did take to Twitter to let fans know that she still plans to continue forward with her singing career.

"Thanks for your lovely messages," she tweeted. "I had laringytus at judges' houses, but did the best I could...the show must go on! Best time ever."

Pattinson also took to her Facebook account to go even futher in letting fans know how appreciative she was of their support during her time on the show.

“Thanks so much for the messages of support over the last few months. Wow! It has been an amazing experience – challenging and scary, but mostly great fun! Looking forward to bringing you some new songs soon … x”

Her younger brother Robert, age 28, is completely in Lizzy's corner as she moves forward. Earlier in the audition process, the 'Rover' star mentioned to Grazia Daily he was "ridiculously proud of her."

"I would never have the balls to do that, ever, in a million years," he admitted. "I can't believe she's done it. So, it's amazing."

During the morning she auditioned for Cowell, she went on to admit that she felt it was the 'most important day' of her life.

'I've wanted to be a singer since I was 15 but at some point along the way, life took over and music got put to one side,' she added.

'Doing The X Factor has put everything into perspective again in the most wonderful way.
'I would hate to stumble at this hurdle. This mean everything to me. This has been my dream since I was 15.'

Lizzy when out to go in front of simon and his ex-girlfiend Sinitta to perform a rendition of 'Don't Make Me' by Blake Shelton. She was hopeful it would land her a spot on the upcoming live shows, but neither judge was impressed by Pattinson's singing ability.

'If I had been watching on TV I would have gone to the loo really quickly, because I’d have thought "okay I've seen her…I don’t need to see all of it,"' she quipped to Simon.

Although Cowell ultimately made the discion to let Pattinson go, he did say he was disappointed to see her leave the show and admitted to the cameras: 'To let someone like that go is a bummer.'
