Kylie Minogue, Chris Martin, Pharell and More Sing Beach Boys God Only Knows for BBC

This is very cool. BBC has pulled together 27 musicians including top stars like Kylie Minogue, Chris Martin, Pharell to perform God Only Knows from the Beach Boys. Watch the amazing music video below

To celebrate the launch of BBC Music the British media company took the The Beach Boys classic God Only Knows and recorded it with 27 of the top musicians and the BBC orchestra. The list include Kylie Minogue, Chris Martin, Pharell, Lorde, Sam Smith, Dave Grohl, Chrissie Hynde, One Direction, Brian May, Stevie Wonder and Brian Wilson.

BBC broadcasted the music video of the "impossible ochestra" simultaneously on all channels to mark the occasion. God Only Knows was aired simultaneously on Tuesday on BBC One, Two, Three, Four and Radio 1, 2, 4, 6 and 5 Live.

Bob Shennan, director of BBC Music, said: "This impossible orchestra is a celebration of all the talent, diversity and musical passion found every single day throughout the BBC."

BBC did a similar thing back in 1997 called Perfect Day. Back then the project was initially just an ad for the BBC, but it was so popular they released it as a single to raise money for charity. Perfect Day (a Lou Reed title) included stars like Elton John, Bono, Lou Reed and David Bowie. Watch also Perfect Day below.

Watch the fantastic music video below. The single sales are in aid of this year's BBC Children in Need campaign.
