Sonic the Hedgehog comes back with a boom. Sonic Boom will come as new video game, comic book and TV series.

Legendary Sega game figure, Sonic the Hedgehog makes a huge comeback next month. Sonic Boom will be released as comic book, video game and TV show. The 1st edition of the Sonic Boom comic book will be released first on October 29. The Sonic Boom TV show premiers on November 8 on Cartoon Network. Watch the trailer below. The Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric will be available for Wii U (pre-order). In Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy must work together as they face the deadly snake-like ancient villain, Lyric and his army of war mongering robots as they rise from deep within their home island. Sonic and his team will navigate the world like never before; racing across ancient ruins, through the depths of the ocean and even back in time to save the world from Lyric's evil plan! With a strong emphasis on collaboration, the roles of Tails, Knuckles and Amy, will be elevated in gameplay that capitalizes on each character's unique talents and abilities.

The Sonic Boom gam for the Nintendo 3DS is titled Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal (pre-order). Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal is a standalone adventure that shares key characters, events and lore of the Sonic Boom universe with exclusive environments and characters, as well as an emphasis on platforming and puzzles. In addition to Sonic, Tails and Knuckles, gamers will also be able to take on the role of Sticks, the newest member of the team. She will play an integral role in the story after her best friend Amy gets kidnapped by the ancient villain Lyric.
