The Apple iPad event on Thursday will bring us no Retina MacBook Air says latest rumor.

The Re/Code guys destroy hopes of Apple fans about a new Retina MacBook Air that has been rumored for a while. Apple will not present MacBook Air with Retina Display in the iPad media event on Thursday, Oct. 16.

The Retina iMac rumor still lives on. Apple will show the new iPads, OS X Yosemite and the iMac with Retina Display. If Apple indeed shows a new hi-res iMac, it will be really time to upgrade. Not only do i still work with an iMac wtih the old thick frame, but starting Thursday also the screen resolution will be outdated.

Apple will live stream the Oct. 16 event starting at 10am PDT.
