Chromecast is now $28 on Amazon

Amazon lowered the price of the already low-priced Google Chrome to $28.

Google Chromecast is a bestselling HDMI streaming media player that is now 20% off on Amazon. Instead of $35, Chromecast sells now for $28 with free shipping.

In addition you also get two month of free Hulu Plus service. This bundle deal promotion runs until end of the year.

Plug it into any HDTV and control it with your existing smartphone, tablet, or laptop. Send your favorites from HBO GO, Netflix, YouTube, Hulu Plus, Pandora, Watch ESPN, Crunchyroll, MLS, Crackle, Rdio, MLB.TV, Google Play Movies & TV, Google Play Music, and Chrome to your TV with the press of a button. No more huddling around small screens and tiny speakers.

Chromecast automatically updates to work with a growing number of apps. Chromecast works with devices you already own, including Android tablets and smartphones, iPhones, iPads, Mac and Windows laptops, and Chromebooks. Browse for what to watch, control playback, and adjust volume using your smartphone, tablet, or laptop. You won't have to learn anything new.

The big downside of the Chromecast streaming media player is that it has no TV user interface. This means you have to control it via another device like your iPhone. If that does not an issue for you it is the most affordable solution to get internet media offerings onto your TV screen.

The $28 Chromecast deal is available directly now on Amazon and not over a Lightning deal or the new Prime early Access Lightning Deals.

Google Chromecast is on the market since a year. The question is if Google is about to introduce a new Chromecast hardware. If Google does that it is likely a new more expensive device that has TV UI.
