  • "I think it was a moment where people realized that I wasn't exactly what they thought I was," she said at a press conference for the film Wild at the BFI London Film Festival. "I guess maybe we all like to define people by the way the media presents them, and I think that I showed I have a complexity that people didn't know about. It's part of human nature. I made a mistake. We all make mistakes. The best you can do is say sorry and learn from it and move on."

Reese Witherspoon has a new

Reese Witherspoon stars in the upcoming movie Wild. She also showed us her wild side last year when she was arrested for disorderly conduct. She apologized back then publicly. On Monday Witherspoon addressed the arrest at a press call for her new movie Wild. She said according to THR: "

"I think it was a moment where people realized that I wasn't exactly what they thought I was," she said at a press conference for the film Wild at the BFI London Film Festival. "I guess maybe we all like to define people by the way the media presents them, and I think that I showed I have a complexity that people didn't know about. It's part of human nature. I made a mistake. We all make mistakes. The best you can do is say sorry and learn from it and move on."

I totally have moved on. Watch Reese Witherspoon in the Wild trailer below.

In Wild, director Jean-Marc Vallée (Dallas Buyers Club), Academy Award winner Reese Witherspoon (Walk the Line) and Academy Award nominated screenwriter Nick Hornby (An Education) bring bestselling author Cheryl Strayed's extraordinary adventure to the screen. After years of reckless behavior, a heroin addiction and the destruction of her marriage, Strayed makes a rash decision.

Haunted by memories of her mother Bobbi (Academy Award nominee Laura Dern) and with absolutely no experience, she sets out to hike more than a thousand miles on the Pacific Crest Trail all on her own. Wild powerfully reveals her terrors and pleasures --as she forges ahead on a journey that maddens, strengthens, and ultimately heals her.

Wild will be in theaters on December 5.
