Kurt Busch is Alleged to Have Banged His Former Girlfriend's Head Against a Wall : Report Reveals

A report filed at the Dover Police department alleges that NASCAR driver, Kurt Busch, may have banged his former girlfriend's head against a wall.

US Today reported that the assault report was presented to Dover police by the victim, Patricia Driscoll last Wednesday at 2 pm. In the mean time, the Dover authorities are in the process of investigating the matter to get the truth.

They argued that they are currently not able to issue any statement because investigations are underway.

If the allegations are true, Busch may soon find himself in hot soup for messing with the wrong lady. As a matter of fact, Patricia works for the military foundation and she is actually the chair.

According to a report published by Associated Press, Patricia claimed that the assault took place at the 2004 Sprint Cup champion's motorhome during a race.

The report indicated that the star could not control his anger on September 26 after he performed poorly in a qualifying race for the Sprint cup.

It is at that point that Busch started calling Patricia all sorts of names while at the same time blaming himself for the loss. He was overheard saying that he could easily end his own life if only he had a gun.

"He was verbally abusive to her and said he wished he had a gun so that he could kill himself," the report stated. In the report, Patricia claimed that the driver accused her of monitoring all his moves through spies and surveillance cameras that were installed on the bus just to capture every little thing he was doing.

Busch is said to have held the head of his former girlfriend and banged it thrice against a wall in their bedroom. However, thirty six year old Patricia revealed that she gathered enough strength to release herself from her attacker and sought refuge in an adjacent motorhome.

The first hearing will be held on 2 December. The victim stated that the incident left her nursing bruises on her neck that were accompanied by acute pains. She added that she could not breath as usual.

NASCAR latter issued a press statement to acknowledge the matter but argued that they were unable to say anything else until investigations are complete.

"We recognize the seriousness of this matter and are actively gathering information from all parties, including law enforcement authorities and Stewart-Haas Racing," NASCAR chief communications officer Brett Jewkes said. "It would be inappropriate for NASCAR to comment further on this matter until we have more information."

Patricia's report recommends Busch to distance himself from his former girlfriend and their son Houston. The report also requires the star to be examined by a psychiatrist and a certified domestic violence treatment agency to prove that he is still sane.

The star is being represented by Rusty Hardin. The lawyer operates from Houston and is also representing NFL star Adrian Peterson in his child abuse case.

The lawyer later issued a statement that read:

"The Dover Police Department has been informed that Mr. Busch will fully cooperate with their investigation and he expects to be vindicated when the entire truth of the situation comes to light.

This allegation is a complete fabrication by a woman who has refused to accept the end of a relationship and Mr. Busch vehemently denies her allegations in every respect.

At this time we intend to have no further comment in the media out of respect for the Dover Police Department's desire to conduct a thorough investigation without a media circus."

Busch was seen on Friday exiting his car and made his way to the Stewart-Haas Racing No. 41 team hauler. He declined to say anything.
