The roller coaster will fall from more than 500 feet.

The tallest roller coaster in the world, Skyscraper, will twist and dive from more than 500 feet above International Drive when it is scheduled to open in 2017. On Monday a track design was unveiled for the public to see what they are going to experience.

US thrill Rides which is an Orlando-based company released this track design in a four minute computer animation. The video is just outstanding and shows the takeoff from inside the Skyplex entertainment complex and climbing upward. We see that the vehicle is holding 8 passengers in two rows of four people.

The video includes the on-board experience and also provides the viewer with different experiences that can be enjoyed according to the time of the day, which means night and day experiences.

Bill Kitchen the founder of US Thrill Rides stated that the unique design of this roller coaster includes loops, turns, twists and spirals that have never been experienced before and will give the riders the best time of their life.

The video shows blue cars slowly going up a red track and when it drops down it shows that the route down is a roundabout path that includes many sudden drops and small elevations.

We can also see in the video the International Drive sites that are currently under construction which also included the Orlando Eye observation wheel, which is also under construction currently. International Drive is an 11.1 mile thoroughfare in Orlando, Florida and is the city’s main tourist spot.

Kitchen further stated that Skyscraper will not only be the tallest ride of the world but will also be one of the most happening rides. This is because Skyscraper will introduce new things at every moment of the ride, such as sudden falls and elevations.

He also explained that it is an absolute state of the art ride that will provide adrenaline to riders unlike another ride. The ride will also include an observation deck who wants to see the riders scream in terror.

Developers are enthusiastic to break ground in 2015 and hopefully open it for business in 2017. The attraction will be built near the intersection of International Drive and Sand Lake Road. Skyplex is a 495,000 foot square area which would include expensive and luxurious arcading, restaurants, bars, simulators and much more.

The ride will be built by American manufacturer S&S Worldwide. The steel track of the roller coaster is around 5200 feet long and the height will be 568 feet exact. When the Skyscraper opens it will break the record of the tallest roller coaster which is currently by Kingda Ka, at Six Flags Great Adventure at 428 feet. Not only will it break this record but the Skyscraper is also set to break the record of the highest inversion in the world at 170 feet held by GateKeeper at Cedar Point.

Orlando Sentinel posted the first video demonstration of world’s tallest roller coaster.

With all this it seems that Orlando is once again going to be the center of tourists once again. Well Skyscraper is a ride that can’t be missed out.
