Amazon Cyber Monday 2014 Sale to begin Nov. 29

Amazon launched the Black Friday 2014 Deals Week earlier than ever. We expect that Amazon will also launch the Cyber Monday 2014 Sale early.

The Amazon Black Friday 2014 sale has launched on Friday. The reason is likely that Walmart launched their huge Walmart Black Friday Pre Sale on Friday. Walmart has already unveiled the Walmart Cyber Monday 2014 Ad and announced to launch their Cyber Monday 2014 sale on November 29. This is the Saturday after Black Friday.

Confirmed. Amazon Cyber Monday 2014 Deals Week launches 11/29.

We expect that Amazon will match Walmart's plans and also kick off the Amazon Cyber Monday 2014 Sale on Saturday, November 29. Like the Walmart Cyber Monday Sale, the Amazon sale is going to be a week long.

I always get asked if deals are better on Cyber Monday and to skip Black Friday. The answer is no. The deals are not better on Cyber Monday. There are different offers that lack the dramatic discounts Black Friday doorbusters have. Usually though Cyber Monday deals are stocked better. Another quality of the Cyber Monday deals is that they tend to be on higher value items. Don't expect a $79 32-inch TV deal on Cyber Monday. You only find that on Black Friday.

Cyber Monday 2014 is expected to generate $2.6 billion in sales. Black Friday sales are predicted to reach $2.48 billion.

Cyber Monday, a term coined by in 2005, got established when retailers saw a trend of consumers shopping online on the Monday after Thanksgiving. Today, Cyber Monday is viewed as the online equivalent to Black Friday. Cyber Monday 2013 is expected to a huge sales day again this year - most likely the biggest.
