Apple is rumored to release a large 12.2-inch iPad Air. Schematics of the iPad Air Plus have supposedly leaked in a Japanese magazine.

The Apple Air 2 got released in September. The iPad Air 2 could get a big brother like the iPhone 6 in Spring. Rumors about a 12-inch iPad Air are circulating since a long time now. Today a report comes out of Japan that Japanese Apple magazine Mac Fan is publishing schematics of the iPad Air Plus in the new magazine edition.

According to the leaked schematics the iPad Air 2 would be 305.31x220.8x7mm in size. It would run on the A9 CPU and the release is between April and June 2015.

The iPad Air Plus would have a fancy number of speakers to make stereo sound possible in landscape and portrait mode.

The Mac Fan also talks iPad mini 4. The iPad mini 4 would adopt the iPad Air 2 design and iPad mini and iPad mini 3 would be discontinued at the launch of the iPad mini 4.
