Robin Williams Tops Google 2014 Search Ranking

Google released the Top 10 global search trends 2014. The loss of Robin Williams has touched people around the globe bringing his name to the #1 spot.

The Google Top 10 global search trends 2014 have been released today and are actually quite surprising. The passing of beloved comedian and actor Robin Williams drove the most users to Google to find out more or remember him. Robin Williams tops the list of global searches in 2014. His name is ahead of huge global topics including Ebola, ALS or ISIS.

The second place behind Williams takes the World Cup followed by Ebola on 3rd. The still missing airliner MH370 is taking the 4th spot followed by ALS. The ALS Ice Bucket challenge was the biggest viral charity phenomenon of 2014.

The Austrian bearded drag queen and European song contest winner Conchita Wurst took the 7th spot in the global Google search trends of 2014.
