Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2015 Edition Release is Feb. 9

The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2015 Edition will be released on Feb. 9. For the first time there will be big event celebrating the 2015 SI Swimsuit Issue taking place in Nashville.

Last year the 50th Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition was released. It was the biggest SI edition yet. How to follow up something like that? Sports Illustrated announced to host a big entertainment event celebrating the release of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2015 Edition.

The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2015 Edition will be released on Feb. 9. February 11-12 Sports Illustrated swim suit models will be heading to Nashville for two days of music including Nashville-based superstars Kings of Leon and local emerging artists). There is supposed to be also BBQ.

Everyone is invited to come hang out with us at "Swimville" on storied Lower Broadway for free. A limited number of tickets to the Kings of Leon performance, with opener Mikky Ekko. Tickets will be made available to the public through the Symphony Hall box office. This Nashville Sports Illustrated party sounds like a great way to get close to some of the Sports Illustrated models.

Who will be on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2015 Edition? Last year the 50th anniversary edition had three models on the cover with Chrissy Teigen, Nina Agdal and Lily Aldridge. Kate Upton was featured in the Flip-Side cover of the magazine. If you count Kate Upton's flip-side appearance than our favorite model has been on the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover three times in a row.

The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2015 Edition will be again a massive online release with videos and elaborate photo galleries. It seems this does not hurt magazine sales as SI is making the online portion of the Swimsuit edition bigger each year. See what SI had in store last year for the online version of the Swimsuit edition.
