Restaurants will soon take any mobile payment at the table

Ways of paying through mobile phones has been getting increasingly popular as of recently but this ability to buy things and pay from phones was enjoyed at various retail stores across the country but can we take advantage of this at our favorite eateries? If this hasn’t been uncovered yet, it will be soon because Verifone has got it covered.

It has recently announced its Payware Mobile e355 which is a wireless terminal and will let stores accept any mobile payment which you make from wherever you are. It is going to take Apple Pay, Google Wallet and other NFC tap-to-pay transactions and as far as the design is concerned, it has been made to accommodate numerous device shapes and operating systems. This new system means that you will never have to worry about breaking your credit card because the shop you are at is not accepting your new phone.

However, there is still some time in waiting before you can take advantage of this. The Payware Mobile e355 wireless terminal is not going to be shipped by Verifone till summer this year and the wait might be even longer till it reaches your local pubs and then you can pay for your drink with your iPhone. Despite of the wait, we are inspired enough to tag this as an important approach. This is going to encourage stores to embrace the future and accept your phone payments when they know their wireless gear won't be obsolete in a year or two.
