Company has wooed 150 Apple employees

The recent quarterly earnings by Apple have cemented the reputation of the company throughout the world. They have set the record for business earnings of any business for a quarter and they are now recognized as the most cash rich company in the world. This certainly shows testament to the innovation of Apple’s engineers. One company that has noticed that is the electric car maker, Tesla. Tesla and their CEO Elon Musk has been able to recruit 150 Apple engineers to jump ship and come to his up and coming company.

It is being reported that the recruiting of Apple employees by Tesla is the largest of any other company for them and that is including car manufacturers. It is also well known that Tesla is becoming one of the more popular and booming companies in all of Silicon Valley. Most of these employees are said to be software engineers with some of them being retail professionals and representing lawyers. Musk certainly sees the big picture and knows that Apple is the most likely place to have the engineers that will make his company flourish. Elon Musk must know something about business. Fortune Magazine named him their 2013 Businessperson of the Year.

It is being said that Musk likes to compare himself to Steve Jobs as far as paying extreme attention to detail and making sure that they give the consumer a high quality product. This migration of Apple employees to Tesla certainly goes to show that the electric car and smartcar market is one that Apple may venture into in the near future. It is looking as if the core and base that powers Tesla’s cars are getting their starts at Apple. It could certainly show and point signs that Apple could see themselves in the electric car market way before than most people can think.
