Microsoft plans to include both the “full background” and “in the tiles” options in Windows 10 for phones

Microsoft has recently announced the first build of Windows 10 Technical Preview for Phones which is only available on Lumia 630, 635, 636, 638, 730 and 830 devices, according to Microsoft officials. The new kind of homescreen on Windows 10 for phone comes with a combination of background wallpapers and tiles. In Windows 10, the wallpaper is displayed on the complete background, whereas the tiles turn into semi-transparent icons so that you could get a view of the picture behind the tiles also.

Many folks around the world mentioned through blogs and reviews that they were comfortable with the new look presented by the tech giant, however, a good percentage of consumers appeared to be in the favor the Windows 8.1 homescreen. In old version of Windows OS, the wallpaper picture used to be displayed on the tiles, and a number of consumers have said that it was a really decent feature. Since the new Windows 10 technical preview launched yesterday, the technology giant Microsoft seems satisfied with the reviews it received through different channels.

Considering the demand of Windows Phone 8.1 users , Microsoft official has confirmed that it will bring the older option back in the upcoming version of Windows 10 for phones. This means that the consumer will have the option to select the homescreen with either no background, tiles with wallpaper or full wallpaper.

Microsoft has also planned to launch Spartan, which is a lighter yet a faster version of Internet browser. It is a bit disappointing for the audience as Microsoft has not introduced Spartan in the first public preview of Windows 10 mobile , However, the company is working to make it available on desktop and mobile in next few months.

In addition, Microsoft Office’s popular applications will be integrated into Windows 10 mobile OS which covers Word, Excel and Powerpoint along with OneNote. Additionally Skype/SMS will also be incorporated in Windows 10 for smartphones. The exact date of Windows 10 availability for mobile handsets is still unavailable, though Microsoft has confirmed plans to launch the updated version on laptops and tablets within the month of February.
