According to the recent reports, Apple also appears to get ready for battery business, as the company is in the process of organizing a new division.

Many analysts believe that Apple Inc will be launching a number of new products in next couple of years which may include a complete electronic car. According to the recent reports, Apple also appears to get ready for battery business, as the company is in the process of organizing a new division. This will enable Apple to be in direct competition with another firm that manufactures lithium ion batteries for cars and large sized vehicles.

In addition to the forecasted competition, the firm has also filed a lawsuit against Apple in which the company claims that the technology giant has stolen its engineers in order to set up the battery business division. The battery manufacturers A123 Systems has filed a suit, which elaborates that Apple is consistently following up with project-leading engineers at the company.

According to reports from Reuters, Apple is blamed in the suit to build a similar battery division which currently exists in A123 Systems. In addition, Apple has also been planning to hire engineers from technology giants such as Toshiba, LG, Samsung and others. In the recent days, Apple has also been noticed to perform aggressive hiring from electronic car manufacturing giant Tesla recently. This was also one of the major causes of rumors that Apple is planning to launch an electronic vehicle. As of now, there are eleven employees whom previous employer was A123 System and are currently employed at Apple Inc, as per LinkedIn.

The company particularly did not claim in the suit that Apple is planning to launch an electronic vehicle soon, however, the suspicious activity of hiring battery project engineers definitely hints towards it. In addition, since Apple is offering an extremely lucrative package to auto industry related employees, chances are bright that those employees would join Apple without any second thoughts.

A123 System also claims that the employees hired by Apple recently did not complete their required job period at the company, which is indeed a violation of the agreement they signed upon joining. The suit does not really leave a negative effect on Appleā€™s reputation; instead, it clearly hints that a strong competition will take place, once Apple launches its own version of electronic car.
