Singer Demi Lovato was rushed to the emergency room yesterday fro a bad case of lung infection.

Demi Lovato has been rushed to a hospital because she had difficulty breathing. TMZ reports that after doctors performed tests they concluded the problem is flu-related. She got medicated and as of Tuesday afternoon she was still at the hospital.

Fans took to Twitter after the report broke and hashtag #GetWellSoonDemi is trending in the United States currently at #2. Demi Lovato commands 27 million followers on Twitter.

It is flu season in many parts of the world and celebrities are not immune like the rest of us. According to TMZ, Lovato was set to record a new album this week. The infection is ill timed. Gossip Cop reports that the initial media report make Demi's status sound worse than it actually is.
